AT WORSHIP” VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.”  We are seeking volunteers in the following areas at our worship services:   communion servers, readers, ushers/welcome team, coffee fellowship, altar guild, and A/V operator.  Volunteers are scheduled approximately once per month.  If you are interested in serving, please contact the church office.

PHOTOS NEEDED AND REQUESTED!  Help us celebrate how you see and serve God in your life.  We want to share how God’s love is shown in the world through the people of Mount Olive with periodic slideshows shown in worship.  We need your photos of:  You and your family serving your neighbor.  Maybe it’s at your work, or school, or organization.  Maybe it’s at a planned event or simply shoveling your neighbors walk like you’ve been doing for years.  OR God active in the world: in the beauty of nature, and in the actions and faces of those around you.  Please send your photos with a brief description to: photos@mountolive-elca.net.  This will be an ongoing project!  We would like to have at least 15 – 20 photos for each slideshow.

OUR HEALTH & WELLNESS TEAM… has a monthly service project of encouraging donations to the Kitchen Kupboard.  We ask you to bring your donation on ANY October Sunday – Cereal & deposit them in the entryway.  THANK YOU!!!

THE COFFEE FELLOWSHIP TEAM needs your help!  Coffee fellowship is served following the 8 & 9:30 worship services.  Mount Olive provides the coffee; the 8 a.m. server prepares the coffee and the 9:30 server cleans up.  Each server brings a snack and juice for their service.  Store-bought cookies are just fine!  If you are interested in joining this ministry or have questions, please contact the church office.  And many thanks to our current servers and those who have served in the past!

SIMPLY GIVING:  Consider using Simply Giving to automate your support of Mount Olive’s ministries.  Simply Giving™ is an automated plan for church members to offer their first fruits to God.   For those who would like to sign up for Simply Giving, we now make this option available from our church homepage:  www.mountolive-elca.net.  Those already on Simply Giving can make changes to their scheduled giving plan.  Thank you for your consideration.
