ACTS FUND UPDATE:  As discussed over the past year or so, Mount Olive has received a very significant and generous bequest from the estate of Dorothy Gollmar.  We plan to put these funds into action in our congregation, in our community, and in the greater world to serve Gods ministries.   We are seeking ideas for putting these funds to use in ways that help grow the ministries of our congregation.   If you have a passion for a specific need or know of an organization or group that fills a gap by serving others, please request an application from Marc Roehl, Cindy Dobberke, or the Church Office.

NEW LABYRINTH:  Mount Olive has its very own portable labyrinth, and we now can come and walk the labyrinth in prayer.  It will be available for anyone to use every Wednesday following Bible study from 10:30 until the close of office hours.  It can then be accessed again on Wednesday evening from 5-6:30 p.m.  Any and all are invited to come and experience the labyrinth.  If you have never done this before, no worries; there will be info available in the narthex with suggestions on how to pray while walking.  You may find a place of healing, a wholeness or a renewed sense of peace as you walk.  LECTIO DIVINA:  Beginning in November:  every 2nd and 4th Monday and starting November 13, 2017, from 11 a.m. – 12 noon.  Come pray together using the method of Lectio Divina.  If you are interested but not able to come during these times, please contact Betty Hinkelman.

SIMPLY GIVING:  Consider using Simply Giving to automate your support of Mount Olive’s ministries.  Simply Giving™ is an automated plan for church members to offer their first fruits to God.   For those who would like to sign up for Simply Giving, we now make this option available from our church homepage:  www.mountolive-elca.net.  Those already on Simply Giving can make changes to their scheduled giving plan.  Thank you for your consideration.
