ADULT EDUCATION…meets on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the Library.  The Adult Ed Team will be exploring various books of the Bible and how they address the religious, moral, ethical, and social issues faced by Lutheran Christians today.  The first discussion/topic will be Martin Luther and the Reformation.  All are welcome…no experience necessary!  SUNDAY SCHOOL for 3 year olds thru 5th grade is held on Sundays at 9:15 in the Sanctuary. 

SPECIAL TOY COLLECTION:  Grace Graczyk is working on the second part of her Bronze Award for Girl Scouts and is now collecting new toys for Chosen, an organization that helps foster families in Waukesha County.  She will be collecting new toys from October 16th thru 29th.  Grace will provide a recommended list of toys on a collection bin in the entryway.

THEOLOGY ON TAP:  Do you enjoy a great brew or glass of wine?  Are you interested in spirituality & the deeper questions of life?  If so, then Pr. Scot invites you to join him for “Theology on Tap” at the Badger Burger Co. in Mukwonago on Monday, October 16th, from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

THE THIRD SPACE:  COMMUNITY SOUP SUPPER -- ALL ARE INVITED!  Wednesday, October 18th – 5:30 p.m.:  Grab a friend!  And in order to welcome others in the Mukwonago area to a time of food and fellowship, Mount Olive will host community suppers year-round.  In October, we will share soup and fellowship.  Put it on your calendar, and be sure to join in!  Soup, bread, and beverage donations are appreciated, as well as set up and clean up help.  Please sign up on the board across from Pastor’s office.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY -- CROSSWAYS:  Betty Hinkelman’s course on “Prayer” will end the last Wednesday in October.  The plan for the next segment is a six-week course on the Reformation, featuring video and audiotapes about Martin Luther and his teaching on various subjects during November and December, beginning November 1st.  In order to ascertain whether there is enough interest to have this course, please respond by email to Dwight Cruikshank ASAP if you plan to attend.  No need to respond if you won’t be attending. 

WEEKLY TEXT STUDY:  Wednesday mornings 9-10:30 a.m.  Join Pr. Scot in learning and discussing the Bible reading for the upcoming Sunday worship. 

THE KNOTTY KNITTERS…invites anyone interested to join them in the church library on Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 noon to knit prayer shawls and such, share stories, and have goodies.  No experience necessary.  If you have questions, please call Betty or Inge Adams. 

OUR HEALTH & WELLNESS TEAM has a monthly service project of encouraging donations to the Kitchen Kupboard.  We ask you to bring your donation on ANY October Sunday – Kleenex and Mac/Cheese & deposit them in the entryway.  THANK YOU!!!
