ADULT EDUCATION…meets on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the Library.  The Adult Ed Team will be exploring various books of the Bible and how they address the religious, moral, ethical, and social issues faced by Lutheran Christians today.  The first discussion/topic will be Martin Luther and the Reformation.  All are welcome…no experience necessary!  SUNDAY SCHOOL for 3 year olds thru 5th grade is held on Sundays at 9:15 in the Sanctuary.


THE BOOK OF JOY: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  Copies of the book are available for $12 in the Narthex during the month of February.  Prepare to join Mount Olive’s Booktalk discussion on Sunday, April 22nd, 6 p.m. meal (pay your own way) at Antigua Real, 355 Bayview Rd., Mukwonago.  You are also welcome to find a copy via one of our wonderful public libraries.


THEOLOGY ON TAP:  Do you enjoy a great brew or glass of wine?  Are you interested in spirituality & the deeper questions of life?  If so, then Pr. Scot invites you to join him for “Theology on Tap” at the Badger Burger Co. in Mukwonago on Monday, February 19th, from 7 – 8:30 p.m.


WALKING TOGETHER THROUGH GRIEF:  Walking through these tough situations with others can very often be comforting and healing.  If you are struggling with grief, we welcome you to join us.  Together, through reading, listening and sharing we can help one another to walk this journey of healing and recovery through your grief one step at a time.  We will be meeting twice a month for a total of six sessions beginning on Tues., February 20th, at 6:30 p.m., at Mount Olive Library.  Questions: call Betty Hinkelman 262-662-0205.

WEDNESDAY LENTEN WORSHIPS…will center on a series of short videos that invite us into a better, newer place.  One where change is happening and it comes through an engagement with the Liberator of the world, Jesus Christ.  May we, together, step into a better place.  Please join us for soup supper at 6 p.m.; worship at 7 p.m.; and further video discussion at 7:30 p.m.:  Wednesday, February 21st – “A New Place as Dying to Self;” Wednesday, February 28th – “A New Place as Rebirth;” Wednesday, March 7th – “A New Place as Seeing;” Wednesday, March 14th – “A New Place as Being Present;” and Wednesday, March 21st – “A New Place as a Life of Grace.”


MIDWEEK LENTEN SOUP SUPPER SIGN-UP SHEET:  In an effort to start the planning process for our Lenten soup suppers (2/21–Service/Worship & Music; 2/28–Youth & Family; 3/7–Finance/Property; 3/14–Council; 3/21–Congregation), we are looking for donations from the congregation to supplement the soup suppers with donations of soups, desserts, and beverages.  Please sign up on the Bulletin Board in the hallway if you would like to participate.  Set-up at 5 p.m.; soup, desserts, bread, and beverages here no later than 5:30 p.m.  Extra help for set-up/clean-up welcomed and appreciated!  Contact the church office with questions.


EASTER EGG HUNT:  Our 7th grade AoB students will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on March 18th as part of their Mission Possible.  This event will be held in the Fellowship Hall during the 9:30 service and part of an All Come Together Sunday.  The Easter Egg Hunt is open to all Sunday school students.   Please bring your Easter Baskets for a Hopping Good Time.  If you have any questions, please free to contact Matt Fick.


OUR HEALTH & WELLNESS TEAM… has a monthly service project of encouraging donations to the Kitchen Kupboard.  We ask you to bring your donation on ANY March Sunday – Paper Products (Kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels) & deposit them in the entryway.  THANK YOU!!!


LECTIO DIVINA:  Every 2nd and 4th Monday from 11 a.m. – 12 noon.  Come pray together using the method of Lectio Divina.  If you are interested but not able to come during these times, please contact Betty Hinkelman.


COFFEE WITH THE PASTOR:  Pr. Scot loves his coffee…so most Tuesdays he will be at Espresso Love from 10 – 11:30 a.m.  Stop by and say hi.  He’s buying!
